Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply when you use the TOP I.T. website or request services from TOP I.T. Computer Repair and Second Hand Computers Sales.

Quotations and approval

We may provide an initial quotation based on the information available at the time. Final pricing can change if further faults, parts requirements or additional work are discovered. We will seek your approval before carrying out additional paid work where practical.

Computer repair and IT services

Repair outcomes depend on the condition of the device, parts availability and the nature of the fault. Some faults may be intermittent or may require further diagnosis. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, data loss caused by existing hardware failure or issues outside the work requested.

Data backup

You are responsible for keeping backups of important data. If you request data backup or recovery, we will take reasonable care, but data recovery is not guaranteed.

Parts and warranty

Warranty terms depend on the parts supplied and the service performed. Warranty does not cover misuse, physical damage, liquid damage, software corruption, malware, third-party modifications or unrelated faults.

Website design and ERP program design

Website design, software and ERP program design work may require staged planning, content, feedback and approvals. Timelines depend on project scope, customer response time and third-party services such as hosting, domains, plugins or payment providers.

Customer supplied content and access

You are responsible for ensuring that supplied text, images, logos, account access and business information are accurate and that you have permission to use them.

Payments

Payment is required as agreed before release of goods, completion of services or delivery of project files unless otherwise arranged in writing.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
